Born and raised in South Florida, Liany Perera specializes in estate administration, estate planning and guardianship cases. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2025.

Education

Liany graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University as a member of the Honors College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business. In 2022, Liany continued her education at Florida International University College of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree in 2025.

Liany brings valuable hands-on experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship law. While in law school, she participated in the FIU Guardianship Clinic, where she worked directly on cases involving the legal protection of vulnerable individuals. Liany also served on the executive board of the Society of First-Generation Students. In addition, throughout her time in law school, she gained practical experience through internships at several law firms, focusing on estate planning, probate administration, and guardianship matters.
